The Best Book Series

Hello! I haven't been posting for the past month or two as I've been taking my final A Level exams (stress) so my blog had to be put on the back-burner for a while. But now I'm finished for good I can continue blogging again - yay - and with a fancy new design, hopefully they'll look even better than before! So I thought I'd come back with a list of what I'd consider are the best book series...

Fallen

The Fallen novels by Lauren Kate is one of my favourite series - the stories revolve around a young girl name Luce who falls in love with a fallen angel (hence the name). Fallen is the first book in the series but Passion (3/4) is probably my favourite.

Noughts and Crosses

Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman must have been one of the first book series I read as its aimed at younger teens - books that every child growing up should read. It highlights racism and prejudice in an alternate society where Noughts (white people) and Crosses (black people) don't mix.

The Hunger Games

If you haven't heard of the Hunger Games then where have you been for the past few years?! The first in a dystopian collection of books by Suzanne Collins, the protagonist Katniss Everdeen must fight to the death in the 74th annual Hunger Games. Mockingjay (3/3) is my favourite, plus the films are BRILLIANT and really do the books justice.

Gallagher Girls

The first novel in the collection 'I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You' by Ally Carter is literally my dream (well maybe not) - an all girls boarding school where they're trained to become spies. You go on a journey with the main girl Cammie Morgan throughout the six books in the series.

Caster Chronicles

Also one of my favourite series - granted I haven't yet read the most recent one - with the first book being 'Beautiful Creatures' following the life of Ethan Wate as he falls in love (I sense a pattern here) with a Caster girl. Granted, at times it is unnecessarily soppy and makes you feel queasy, but I like the poetry and Latin usage and general American-ness of the four books. Sadly the film version was a massive let down (am I surprised?).
